<title>89ravenclaw on "Should Link Talk?"</title>

<description>&#60;p&#62;Okay, it's always been a joke that Link's a mute:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It's obvious that he isn't if you pay close attention. Not only does he yell a lot, but there are several suspicious &#34;...&#34; during conversations with other characters in the games.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The question is should we have him talk in the movie? If so, how much? Probably not a lot since he does come off as the silent type. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thoughts?

<description>&#60;p&#62;Malon is a massively popular character in the Zeldaverse, but she isn't essential to the story. With cuts between scenes, Epona isn't essential either. But there's no way I'm cutting them, so tell me your thoughts on Malon down below:

<description>&#60;p&#62;At the end of the game Link returns to Zelda's courtyard, both kids once more. Does Zelda, as the Sage of Time remember anything? Was Link sent back before they met or after they met? At that point in time would Link have the spiritual stones? If not, what does this mean for the Gorons and Ruto (still stuck in Lord Jabu-Jabu)?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;In essence, what happened during that grey period between the end of OoT and Gandondorf's execution, as mentioned in TP?

<title>89ravenclaw on "Kokiri"</title>

<description>&#60;p&#62;It's been silent for awhile here, thought I get the discussion going again.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Everyone knows that the Kokiri look like hylian children in OoT and live in Kokiri Forest. It is said that if they leave the forest they die. Link, willingly leaves the forest knowing this, whist he was still under the impression that he is a Kokiri himself. However, he must have assumed this death was a cause of the dangers that exists outside the forest. After all, the Deku Tree is the protector of the Kokiri. They would also view it as dangerous because if they get lost in the Lost Woods, not a far away destination, that they will turn into skull kids. BUT all the Kokiri, during the game's end credits, are celebrating, outside of the forest, at Lon Lon Ranch.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What is the deal?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Do the Kokiri begin to age if they leave the forest, and that's why they're said to &#34;die&#34; if they leave? Perhaps, if they return to the forest they will stop aging again? &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thoughts?

<description>&#60;p&#62;I assume everyone here has seen this, but for those who haven't, it was a very cruel trick played by IGN earlier this year:&#60;/p&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;What are some little things that you've always kind of inferred into the story/characters, even if it wasn't stated outright, that you'd like to explore more in the movie?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I'm referring here to things like...&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;1) the &#34;glitched glamour spell&#34; theory, which states that the reason Sheik has such intense bangs over one eye is to hide the fact that the spell that changed Zelda's eye color to Sheikah red only half-worked, and her other eye is her normal blue. Or&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;2) the fact that Saria's Song can be used at any point in the game, even after she's been awakened as a sage. Link can talk to her *any time.* It wouldn't be out of the question that he would call her at times when he's lonely or confused. Or that&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;3) Link isn't the only orphan in the story as an adult. Impa barely escaped Ganon's clutches with Zelda; clearly, to usurp the kingdom he must have killed the rest of the Royal Family. Zelda is clairvoyant-- if she had prophetic dreams, why didn't she warn her family? Or is she did, why didn't they listen? This must weigh heavily on her.

<title>ProfessorSpork on "The Manga"</title>

<description>&#60;p&#62;&#60;a href=&#34;http://zeldadungeon.net/Manga.php&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://zeldadungeon.net/Manga.php&#60;/a&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I've been reading the (free! translated into English!) Ocarina of Time manga, and I have to say that-- at least once I got over reading right-to-left-- it's been very thought-provoking.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It expands and changes a lot of things from the game, like having Volvagia be a dragon Link had befriended as a child, for instance, or- and this I REALLY like- having Sheik be a double-agent who appears to be working for Ganon. In fact, Sheik's specific mission is to track down Princess Zelda.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Is there anything in the manga you guys think is worth salvaging or paying homage to?

&#60;p&#62;Zelda Universe posted a new article talking about one of the many overarching themes present in the Zelda series: growing up. It's pretty long, but a very good read. It's making me rethink what I've written so far.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Also, sorry that I haven't been as active, I trying to finish the script, while dealing with my summer term classes that just started, but I read everything on here.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I say we completely give up the ghost and visually &#34;admit&#34; to the audience from the start that Zelda and Shiek are one and the same. This keeps Zelda in the story as it were and let's the audience know that we know they are not morons! lol&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I say when Link pulls the sword, there's a silent dramatic 'Time is passing and you're missing it Link!' montage. During that we see Zelda become Shiek for the first time.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Just my two cents. ;)
